Differences Between Ducted and Ductless Fume Hood

Fume Hood is the essential safety equipment or engineering control system in the laboratory. There are two main types of Fume Hood, namely the Ducted Fume Hood and Ductless Fume Hood.

Many do not aware about their differences. Some will show favour to ducted over ductless fume hood just because they do not know about ductless fume hood.

Actually, every laboratory need both system.  Even-though, both system improve the safety in the laboratory and protect the users from chemical hazardous.  They are very much different when we consider the environmental impact, energy efficiency and regulatory compliance cost.
